Welcome to Sanatan Sanskar. By downloading, accessing, or using the Sanatan Sanskar mobile application or this website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Sanatan Sanskar is a devotional reading app offering scriptures with original text, transliteration and meaning, a daily verse, panchang timings, a jap (chant) counter, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the experience.

2. Your account

You can use core features as a guest. If you create an account (via Google, Apple, or email), you are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Purchases & subscriptions

• Premium is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks premium content on your account.
• Premium+ is an auto-renewing annual subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

All purchases are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and may vary by region and over time. You can view, manage, or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Sanatan Sanskar for personal, non-commercial devotional use, and not to:

• copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell the app's content or compilations;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service unlawfully or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

5. Content & intellectual property

The scriptures themselves are part of a shared spiritual heritage. However, our particular compilations, transliterations, translations, curation, artwork, design, the Sanatan Sanskar name and logo, and the software are protected and remain the property of Sanatan Sanskar or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them within the app for your own devotional practice.

6. Accuracy & guidance

We present scriptural texts, translations, and panchang timings with care, but they are provided for devotional and informational purposes and may contain variations across traditions. They are not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or financial advice, and should not be relied upon as such.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as the app stores and sign-in providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanatan Sanskar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or where necessary to protect the Service or its users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Haridwar, Uttarakhand shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
